2023 - Round 5 : Still Looking for Signal - UPDATE
/I don’t usually allow any of the MoS models two proverbial bites at the cherry, but when the League unexpectedly announces just two days before a round commences that it has just held coin tosses to (re)determine home team status (yes, seriously), I think that counts as exigent circumstances.
Accordingly, I have allowed those Tipsters and Predictors that rely on home team status to revise their forecasts. Those revised values appear below.
I have also allowed the Head-to-Head model to see if it would like to supplement its wagering, but placing bets on any of the newly-appointed home teams. It has, accordingly, decided to make smallish bets on North Melbourne at $5, and on West Coast at $9.20. As they’ve already been placed, all other wagers will remain as they were and be treated as wins or losses in the usual way.
