/The top 12 teams on the competition ladder all now have percentages over 100, and the team with the 7th-best of those percentages, Collingwood, now sits in 11th. Small wonder then that the MoS Win Production Function has 8 teams as having won or lost at least one game more or one game fewer than they "should" have (15 teams if we round up half games and over.)
Hawthorn have scored over 100 points more than any other teams and almost 500 points more than the team that sits two places above them on the ladder, Fremantle. Fremantle, in fact, has scored more points than only two of teams in the 8: Richmond, in 6th, and Geelong, in 8th, who've played one game fewer than the Dockers.
Still, Fremantle is now one of only three teams who've strung together three or more wins, the Roos (4 wins) and the Cats (3 wins) being the other two. Gold Coast's draw with West Coast, which ended streaks for both of them, has left us with only four teams at the wrong end of three game or longer losing streaks: Collingwood (6 losses, all of them immediately post-bye), Essendon (3 losses), Carlton (5 losses), and the Brisbane Lions (10 losses, spanning the bye).
