2023 - Round 2 Results - Less Predictable
/Six home teams, but only four favourites, were successful in Round 2, which left the Head-to-Head Tipster Leaderboard with a very unexpected leader in Home Sweet Home. It is now two tips clear of Bookie Knows Best and MoSHBODS_Marg.
The all-Tipster average was just 4.4 from 9, down a shade on last week’s 4.5 from 9 and leaving the average Tipster with a percentage just under 50.
The Margin Predictors’ mean absolute errors (MAEs) covered a range from competition leader Bookie_9’s 31.4 points per game to RSMP_Weighted’s 33.4 points per game, with the all-Predictor average coming in at 32.6 points per game per Predictor, up three points per game on the Round 1 figure.
ENS_Linear suffered the round’s biggest fall, from 1st to 4th, while Bookie_LPSO enjoyed the greatest climb, from 5th to 2nd.
Log probability scores were all negative, but worst from MoSHPlay_Prob, which sits last on the Leaderboard, and best for Bookie_OE, which sits 1st.
WAGERING
No bets this week, so no change in the profitability of any Fund or of the Combined Portfolio, which remains up 0.6c from a +7% ROT on a 0.08 turn.
