/MoSHPlay_Marg and MoSHBODS_Marg tipped the card this week, and MoSSBODS_Marg tipped 8 from 9, which left the MoSH pairing tied for 1st on 101 from 144 (70%) and MoSSBODS_Marg in 3rd just a single tip further back. Currently, just 4 tips separate 1st from 7th.
The all-Tipster average for the round was 7.6 from 9, which took the all-season figure to 95.7 from 144 (66%).
The Margin Predictors’ mean absolute errors (MAEs) were much lower this week and covered a range from ENS_Linear’s 12.8 points per game to Bookie_9’s very much out on its own 17.5 points per game, with the all-Predictor average coming in at 13.8 points per game per Predictor, which is about 18 points lower than last week.
MoSHPlay_Marg did enough to retain top spot, and now leads Bookie_LPSO by just under 6 goals, while ENS_Linear’s strong performance lifted it into 4th from 6th. Bookie_9’s parlous performance saw it slip from 4th to 8th.
Log probability scores were all highly positive again this week, but highest for MoSHPlay_Prob and MoSSBODS_Prob, which allowed them to retain 1st and 2nd places on the Leaderboard. MoSHBODS_Prob’s score for the round was 3rd-highest, which also allowed them to retain 3rd spot on the Leaderboard.
WAGERING
All but one bet was a collect this week - a losing head-to-head bet on the Dogs - as the Line Fund landed 2 from 2 wagers and the Overs/Unders Fund 5 from 5 wagers. That returned the Overs/Unders Fund to profit for the first time since Round 3.
Overall, the Combined Portfolio rose by almost 2c, which left it up by just under 13c on the season, that from an 18% ROT on an 0.72 turn.
