/We’re still waiting for confirmed venues for the Lions v Saints game, but here’s what we have so far. It shows a fairly high level of agreement between the MoS twins and the bookmakers.
WAGERS
After a three from three performance last week, Investors have two unders wagers this week, as shown below. A third, overs bet on the final game of the round has been declined based on the Perth forecast for next Monday.
The estimated overlays for the two wagers are about 7 points, which is only just enough to trigger a wager.
PREVIOUS RESULTS
In Round 16, MoSSBODS recorded the lowest Mean Absolute Error (MAE) for Game Totals, MoSHBODS for Home Team Scores and Away Team Scores, and Sportsbet for Game Margins.
That left MoSSBODS with the best season-long performance on Home Team Scores, Away Team Scores, and now also Game Totals, and MoSHBODS with the best season-long performance on Game Margins.
MoSSBODS won its lone unders wagers with the TAB and both of its under wagers with Sportsbet last week, leaving it with a 23 and 23 record with the former, and a 7 and 5 record with the latter.
Overall, both MoSSBODS and MoSHBODS went 4 from 9 against both the TAB and Sportsbet, leaving MoSSBODS at 73 from 135 (54%) against the TAB, MoSHBODS at 70 from 135 (52%) against the TAB, and both MoSSBODS and MoSHBODS also at 70 from 135 (52%) against Sportsbet.
