2020 - Round 17 : Overs/Unders
/Only two of the nine markets are up at the bookmakers’ so far. Here’s how they compare to the MoS twins’ opinions.
There’s a large difference between the MoS twins’ views and the bookmakers’ for that Cats v Tigers game, but rain is forecast, so there is no wager.
I’ll provide the final bookmaker totals, and update about any subsequent bets, in a separate blog as those missing markets become available.
Round 16 saw the MoS twins and Easybet share Mean Absolute Error (MAE) honours, with MoSSBODS doing best on Game Margins, MoSHBODS on Away Team Scores and Game Totals, and Easybet doing best on Home Team Scores.
That left MoSSBODS with the season lead on Home Team Scores, MoSHBODS with the lead on Game Totals, the TAB with the lead on Game Margins, and Easybet with the lead on Away Team Scores.
MoSSBODS won both its overs wagers against Easybet to leave it with a season-long 57% success rate against the them and a 67% success rate against the TAB in games on which it has wagered.
Across all games, MoSSBODS is now 74 from 135 (55%) against the TAB, and 75 from 135 (56%) against Easybet, while MoSHBODS is 78 from 135 (58%) against the TAB, and 79 from 135 (59%) against Easybet.
