2019 - Round 22 Results - Tough To Tip
/Bookie Knows Best (BKB) extended its lead to two on the Head-to-Head Tipsters’ Leaderboard this week, as most of the trailing Tipsters managed only 4 from 9 correct tips while it managed 5 from 9.
ENS_Linear remains in 2nd place, ahead of MoSSBODS_Marg and the RSMP twins.
Those RSMP twins did better as Margin Predictors, returning the two best mean absolute errors (MAEs) for the round, albeit at the relatively high average of just under 38 points per game. That moved them into the top two places on the Leaderboard, ahead of Bookie_9, who surrendered top spot for the first time since acquiring it in Round 15.
MoSHPlay_Marg’s result was the round’s third-best, which was good enough to move it another place up the Leaderboard this week and into 8th.
MoSHBODS_Prob did best of all the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors this week, just ahead of MoSHPlay_Prob although all Predictors except C_Prob returned positive log probability scores. MoSHPlay_Prob remains last on the Leaderboard, while MoSSBODS_Prob still holds 1st.
WAGERS
Some luck, good and bad, this week ultimately resulted in a 1c loss for the Combined Portfolio, as the profits from the Head-to-Head and Overs/Unders Funds were not quite sufficient to overcome a third loss for the Line Fund in four weeks.
The Combined Portfolio is now priced at $1.237, this result coming now from a 14.0% ROT on a 1.69 turn of the Portfolio Funds.
