2018 - Round 17 Results - MoSSBODS Again
/Only four favourites won this week and just two of the MoS Head-to-Head Tipsters - C_Marg and Home Sweet Home - managed to tip one of the upsets.
That leaves ENS_Linear still two tips clear at the top and now on 103.5 from 144 (72%).
Best amongst the Margin Predictors' mean absolute errors (MAEs) this week was MoSSBODS_Marg's 26.8 points per game, which was almost three-quarters of a point per game better than the second-placed RSMP_Weighted's 27.5.
That result allowed MoSSBODS_Marg to climb another spot into 5th and left it only just over 53 points behind the leader, Bookie_Hcap.
The Probability Scores for all of the Head-to-Head Probability Predictors were all negative this week, but least negative for MoSSBODS_Prob. That cemented MoSSBODS_Prob's 1st place on the Leaderboard and left Bookie_LPSO a little further behind in 2nd.
WAGERS
Tight Tigers and Roos head-to-head losses hurt the Head-to-Head Fund this weekend and left it with an 0 and 7 record across the past two weeks and a season loss of 11.5%.
Both of the other Funds made profits - the Overs/Unders Fund for the first time since Round 10 - but not enough to fully offset the damage inflicted by the Head-to-Head Fund losses. In total, the Combined Portfolio fell by 1.9c to finish the round down by 3.9c on the season from a -2.7% ROI on about a 1.42 turn.
