2017 - Round 14 Results - MoSHBODS Clings On
/In a season as unpredictable as 2017 has been, you have to be pleased when your head-to-head tipsters average 6.4 from 9 and your margin predictors produce an average mean absolute error (MAE) of 24.7 points per game.
The two RSMP Head-to-Head Tipsters bagged 7 from 9 for the round, one more than MoSSBODS_Marg, which enabled them to extend their lead to 3 clear tips. They're now on 73 from 117 (62%) for the season. BKB also recorded a score of 7 from 9, moving it into a tie for 3rd with MoSSBODS_Marg.
Amongst the Margin Predictors, Bookie_Hcap did best, though it remains over 12 goals behind the leader, MoSHBODS_Marg, which extended its lead over MoSSBODS_Marg this week to just over 5 goals. The top 4 Tipsters are all within 40 points of one another.
The only movement on the Leaderboard was a swapping of places by Bookie_LPSO and ENS_Linear in 6th and 7th.
C_Prob and (narrowly) MoSSBODS_Prob were the only Head-to-Head Probability Predictors recording negative probability scores for the round, the four others recording slightly positive scores of roughly the same magnitude.
Bookie_OE did best and remains atop the Leaderboard, a little ahead of MoSHBODS_Prob and Bookie_LPSO.
WAGERS
This week saw the Overall Portfolio's first loss since Round 5, as the Overs/Unders Fund's 2 from 3 performance fell narrowly short of fully compensating for the 1 and 2, and 1 and 3 performances of the Head-to-Head and Line Funds, respectively.
Altogether, the week's loss amounted to 0.2% of the original Overall Portfolio, which leaves that portfolio up by just under 25% on the season (an 18.3% ROI on a 1.35 turn).
