MatterOfStats 2019 : Team Dashboard for Round 7
According to the MoS Win Production Function, the top 7 teams on the competition ladder currently are also in the top 7 in terms of Expected Wins, and the bottom 5 teams on the competition ladder currently are also in the bottom for Expected Wins. The rank correlation between the teams’ ordering on the ladder and ordering by Expected Wins is now +0.90.
One other feature of the Ranking on Dashboard Metrics table below is how Geelong has now moved into the Top 4 on every metric.

Geelong has lost only six quarters all season.
No team has won all of its Q2s, Q3s or Q4s, and Collingwood remain the only team yet to lose a Q1
No team has lost all of its Q1s, Q2s, Q3s or Q4s (after North Melbourne won its first Q2 this week)
Collingwood, Geelong and Gold Coast have all scored 31% of their points in Q1s, and only 19% (Collingwood and Geelong) or 18% (Gold Coast) in Q2s.
St Kilda and Sydney have both scored 55% of their points in the first-half, while Hawthorn have scored 56% and Brisbane Lions 55% in the second-half.
