WoSHBODS tipped 5.5 winners this week and also recorded a Margin MAE of 19.2 points per game and a Totals MAE of 22,4 points per game, which took the season-long figures to 8.5 from 18 (47%) for accuracy, 29.4 for Margin MAE, and 17.7 for Totals MAE.

WAGERS

Having succumbed to the urge to wager, the Line Fund was my saviour, it’s 5.6c return more than outweighing the 5.6c Head-to-Head Fund loss and the 5.8c Overs/Unders Fund loss, to leave the Combined Portfolio up by 1.7c on the round and the season.

In the second Ranking on Dashboard Metrics chart we remain unable to rank teams on Q1 Performances because Essendon has yet to concede a point in that quarter. That aside, the metric rankings currently most highly correlated with the competition ladder rankings are:

It still doesn’t offer much by way of insight yet, but will be more interesting as more match data becomes available.

It does, however, reveal that only two teams are 2 and 0, and two 0 and 2, meaning that the remaining 14 teams are either 1 and 1, or 1 and a draw or 0 and a draw.
